Any product name or brand appearing with the ™ symbol on this website is a trademark of AALA Technologies, whether registered or unregistered. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
All original works published by AALA Technologies are protected under United States and international copyright law from the moment of creation, in accordance with the Berne Convention.

AALA Technologies operates in compliance with applicable laws of the United States and of the jurisdictions where our users reside. The following summarizes our compliance posture. Complete policy documents will be published in advance of the first public product release.
Our Privacy Policy will describe what data we collect from users of our products, how that data is used, with whom it is shared, and the rights users have with respect to their own data. The policy will address requirements under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applicable to residents of the European Economic Area, and under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) applicable to residents of California.
We do not sell user data. We do not participate in advertising networks. Location data collected by our products is retained only as long as necessary for product functionality and is shared only with users the primary account holder explicitly authorizes.
Terms of Service governing the use of our products will be published on product launch. The Terms will include, among other provisions, a limitation of liability, disclaimer of warranties appropriate to the outdoor context of our navigation product, dispute resolution and arbitration procedures, and account termination conditions.
AALA Technologies complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. Copyright holders who believe that content on our services infringes their rights may submit takedown notices to our DMCA agent at legal@aalatechnologies.com. Notices must contain the elements required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3).
Our navigation product includes features that permit users to publish content — route data, photographs, comments, and community posts. We enforce a content policy prohibiting harassment, illegal content, and content that violates the intellectual property rights of others. Reports of policy violations may be sent to abuse@aalatechnologies.com. All reports are reviewed by a co-founder within one business day.
Requests to access, correct, delete, or export personal data may be submitted to legal@aalatechnologies.com. We will respond in accordance with the timelines required by applicable law.
Our products rely on services provided by the third parties listed below. Users of our products are subject to the privacy and terms policies of these providers in addition to our own.
